Describe the day you learned to fish & who taught you

I was 2 years old and my grandfather wheeled my stroller out to the end of a long dock and handed me a cane pole.  I caught a giant red-ear that day and I’ve never been the same.

Your proudest fishing accomplishment

Winning the 2003 Bassmaster Tour event at Clear Lake, CA was my proudest fishing moment.  I was so far behind the leader going into the final day that I didn’t even think I had a shot at the victory.  I was absolutely shocked when I weighed in and realized that I had won the tournament!

Favorite fishing spot

I have 2 favorite fishing lakes: Lake Amistad, TX and Lake Falcon, TX.  These fisheries are both on the same river system, but are as different as night and day.  But both have LOTS of GIANT bass.
