As part of the Humminbird family, we offer Software Updates for our 300 Series to ION Series product owners. These updates are free of charge and can be accessed from this MyHumminbird section. The typical Humminbird product, from our current line of products, has updates available a couple of times per year or more often if necessary. We typically update software for products, up to three years after the product was last produced. We highly encourage you to register your product so you can take advantage of this great opportunity to gain new features on your product.
You might think: I just purchased this unit, why should I have to update the software already? Due to the methods of distribution that we and our business customers use, the unit you just purchased could have been produced more than six months ago. In that time, we have likely updated software at least one time. These updates are offered to improve the functionality of existing features or new features could have been added. You do not want to miss out on these updates and that is the most important reason for you to register.
You can alway add or delete products from your profile or update your profile information. If you have a Humminbird software up-gradable unit and have previously registered your product, you will find the HumminbirdPC program download along with software specific to your registered unit(s).
