    Can I use the XI 9 20 ice transducer with my 798ci HD SI?

    If you choose to use a XI 9 20 with the 798ci HD you will want to make sure your unit has been set for Quad Beam as the transducer.  Once you select quad beam as your transducer, you can choose to hide the quad beam view.  This will allow you to use the ice flasher or 2D sonar view on your 798ci HD SI and get the best possible returns.  Because a Side Imaging unit requires movement, you cannot use your Side Imaging transducer.
