A manmade structure of sunken railroad tracks remains after filling this reservoir. The area directly beneath boat icon in the center of the screen is shown brighter than the surrounding area indicating a rise in bottom contour. Conversely, the areas to the left of the tracks grow gradually darker indicating a descending terrain. The individual railroad ties clearly visible.

Bridge Pilings
The areas near the base of the bridge pilings are shaded darker than the surrounding area due to the scouring action of tidal flow.

Fish Beds in Forward Imaging Mode
A series of fish beds are shown, one fish can be seen still on bed. With the field of view narrowed in Forward Imaging Mode, the screen is updated faster. The field of view can be made to any size and rotated in any direction in order view objects of interest.

Forward Imaging and Waypoint Creation
The cursor is placed over the targeted structure, so a waypoint can be made. The newly saved location is 23.6 feet in front of the boat. Image shown is also expanded through the zoom feature (8x) to show additional detail.

Bottom Contours Revealed
Intermittent hard bottom and corals rise up from rippled sand bottom. Relative height of hard bottom and corals is indicated by the intensity of the shadow behind them. Important information when targeting gamefish trying to ambush prey. Screen shot is shown in optional color pallet Amber #2.

BAITFISH SCHOOLS
Large school of baitfish made up of many individual small pods of bait is shown. All are relating to a large piece of rock rising above the bottom.

Combined Technologies
Fish, in this case, Hybrid Striped Bass are shown as individual white streaks that make up one large school. The split screen view of traditional 2-D Sonar shows the fish clearly working between depths of 22 – 45 feet.

Sunken Sailboat
360 Imaging™ shows a sailboat shown in vivid detail as she lays quietly on the bottom in 40 feet.

Boca Grande Ledge & Bait
Boat pulls up on Boca Grande Ledge from 60+ feet into 48’ – Dark shading on 360 Imaging™ indicates the drop in depth. A secondary ledge is also shown. Clouds of bait are depicted directly under the boat. Bait clouds also shown on 2-D Sonar screen between 14 – 30 feet. 360 Imaging™ screen is shown in optional color pallet Amber #1 ideal in bright sun.
Tarpon in Ledge
Ledge runs across top of 360 Imaging™ screen and is depicted by darker shading indicating the drop in depth.
Tarpon Holding Tight in Boca Grand Pass
Large fish holding close to the bottom often give a shadow. In this case a school of Tarpon shadows are shown on 360 Imaging™. They were confirmed as tarpon after jumping 2 fish from the school.
